Hi GhostBuster (lol at your username),

I think it is pretty hard yes. The skills I have now have taken me years to develop, and even then sometimes my experiments won’t work which can be down to a whole host of reasons and it comes down to me to figure out why and sort it out. After that, we have to analyse the data which can take a long time and then we have to interpret our results too to figure out what it is telling us about how blood vessels work. After this, we then have to write up our experiments, our data, our results and our interpretation and try publish this in a journal. It all requires time, hard-work, a lot of effort and dedication. This is not including all the other things I have to do like order equipment and drugs, present our findings, manage our animals and lots more.

So yes my research is hard, but it has taken me a long time to get to this level and it will take me even more time to get even further. But one way I always like to look at it is that usually anything worth doing is hard to do (and learn) because if it was easy, then lots of people would be doing it and then it would not be worth as much because there more people with that skill or ability. So you have to work hard to get the things that are worth doing done and this increases your achievements/value.
