      The hormone I study is called adiponectin. The reason I find it interesting is that is is made in the fat and released into the blood to send messages around the body. As it is made in the fat it would make sense that people or animals with more fat would have more adiponectin in their blood but it has been found that the opposite is true. Obesity causes adiponectin to decrease compared to healthy people. I want to find out how important adiponectin is in helping humans and animals to have good health.
